Welfare Assistance

As well as rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need, we also offer veterinary/financial assistance to help local animals and their owners.

You must be in receipt of means-tested benefits and live in one of the following postcode areas to use our Welfare Clinic, or apply for financial assistance:

Our Welfare Clinic is open for appointments only:

Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:45am-12:15pm and 1:30pm-4:45pm

Consultation fee: £15 to see vet. All drugs are at a subsidised cost.

Fridays 3:00pm-4:00pm for Neutering Vouchers and Flea and Worming treatment only. No appointment required. This clinic session is run by our SQP, Lindsay. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO VET ON SITE ON A FRIDAY.

Neutering Vouchers

Available from our clinic every Friday, (except bank holidays), from 3:00pm-4:00pm

Male and female cat neutering vouchers available, which include a microchip, for just a £16 donation.

Dog neutering vouchers available for £100 which covers a full cost spay or castrate for any size of dog. The Branch helps fund the balance paid to the vets. Designated vets only.

Assistance with private veterinary bills

We have a limited amount of funds available to help pet owners on means-tested benefits with unforeseen veterinary bills.

Unfortunately we are unable to assist with bills relating to procedures that have already taken place prior to the owner contacting us.
