Welfare Assistance

As well as rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need, we also offer veterinary/financial assistance to help local animals and their owners.

You must be in receipt of means-tested benefits and live in one of the following postcode areas to use our Welfare Clinic, or apply for financial assistance:

Tuesday 10:00am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:00pm

Thursday 2:00pm-4:00pm

Consultation fee: £12 (increasing to £15 from 1st September 2022) to see vet. All drugs are at a subsidised cost.

Friday 3:00pm-4:00pm for Neutering Vouchers and Flea and Worming treatment only. This clinic session is run by our SQP, Lindsay. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO VET ON SITE ON A FRIDAY.

Neutering Vouchers

Available from our clinic every Friday, (except bank holidays), from 3:00pm-4:00pm

Male and female cat neutering vouchers available, which include a microchip, for just a £16 donation.

Dog neutering vouchers available for £100 which covers a full cost spay or castrate for any size of dog. The Branch helps fund the balance paid to the vets. Designated vets only.

Assistance with private veterinary bills

We have a limited amount of funds available to help pet owners on means-tested benefits with unforeseen veterinary bills.
