We will not rehome any dog with an unknown history to a home with children under the age of 13. It is recommended that dogs should NOT be left alone for any longer than four hours. We will also not rehome a dog if it is to be tethered in any way. All of our dogs must live within a home environment. You must have a secure enclosed garden with no escape holes and a minimum of 5 to 6ft fence in height all around. Preference will be given to local homes within a 50 mile radius and all are subject to a successful home visit and post visit.
Please do not call unless you are serious at adopting, see the rehoming page for more details. Its important these animals are in homes as soon as possible, Owning a dog is a huge commitment for many years.
Puppies need lots of time and are a big committment, please look in to the breed and what is needed to be a responsible owner.
All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked, they are also up to date with flea and worm treatments.
The adoption fees for our dogs vary depending on age: up to 12 months old £250, 1 year to 10 years old £150, over 10 years old (but not on Golden Oldie scheme) £65

This in no way covers the amount it has cost the branch to rehabilitate each dog, and every one will cost the branch in excess of £500 as a minimum to rehome. The adoption fee just helps us to continue to help local animals.
