We are a local charity helping animals within our area, we need extra volunteers to help with the ever increasing amount of animals needing our care.

Volunteers wanted for Caister Road Charity Shop- Do you want to meet people, have some fun, and make a difference to animal welfare at the same time. If so then we would like to hear from you. Any hours of times to suit. We especially need people with retail skills to serve in the shop. Pop in and ask for Roxanne at the shop, or email the above address.

Volunteers wanted for Regent Street Charity shop- We need another pair of animal friendly hands to help in the shop, the shop is vital to help fund the welfare work that we do locally at the branch. Please contact Lana Smith directly at the shop.

Volunteer Home Visitors - We have several vacancies for people to join our team of home visitors and we have vacancies in the areas of Coltishall, North Walsham, Mundesley, Loddon, Toft Monks, plus we are looking to extend our network of home visitors to cover more of the Norwich area. This is a very interesting role as we would like you to visit the homes of potential adopters to ensure their suitability to adopt an RSPCA animal. You will need at attend a brief home visiting course lasting between 1-2 hours and be of a friendly professional disposition. Please email rspcaeastnorfolk@aol.com for more information.

Volunteer clinic cleaner- Can you help by keeping our clinic clean, one hour on a Friday from 2 till 3.

Trustee/Committee member- We are looking for two new Trustees to join our welcoming committee. This is a very important role and oversees the running of the branch and animal welfare that we carry out within our branch area. You will need to have common sense and a passion for animal welfare.

Short term cat and kitten fosterer in and around the Great Yarmouth. area.  We are looking for two new foster carers to help look after one cat or kittens on a short term basis. This could be from a week to three months until they are fit to be rehomed from our private boarding cattery. You must have a separate room available for them and be able to give medication., lots of love and stimulation. You should also have experience of cats. We will supply all the litter, food, medication and vet bills.

Ferret fosterer - Do you have experience of looking after Ferrets, then we would like to hear from you. This will be on a short term basis until a rehoming space is available. This could be from 4 weeks to 3 months. Please contact Debs on the details below.

Rabbit fosterer- Do you have space for two large hutches and runs within your garden. Are you au fait with rabbit needs and welfare? do you live within 5 miles of Great Yarmouth? If so we would like to hear from you.

Events helper- Would you like to help out at collections and events in and around the local area.

Everyone can help by volunteering from home, every time you use your computer to search or buy online, register for easyfundraising and you could be raising money for the local animals and the East Norfolk branch of the RSPCA.
